Sometimes attachments are an essential part of the thesis. These should also be included in the list of attachments in the content of the thesis. In particular, they serve to create a more detailed picture of the issue or other data and information presented.
The evaluators in the commission usually focus on a narrow range of selected issues of the given study program, and therefore they do not have to understand the topic of the thesis. Attachments in the thesis help them to define very quickly what the thesis is about.
Types of attachments in the thesis
The methodology of writing a thesis also includes the type of attachment that may appear in the thesis. This may be:
- photographic material
- audio material
- audio-visual material.
Each photograph or other material may not be included in the annexes unless it is mentioned in the theoretical section.
The audio material will be lost to the members of the committee when defending the thesis.
The annex, which is in audio form, will be listed in the annexes list and briefly described in the “Annexes” chapter. It can be a demonstration of a feature, animated or documentary film, a music sample, a recording from a festival, a music concert, or an event that is directly related to the subject of our work. It may also be a recording of a radio show. Above all, this option is used by art and drama students.
If a student needs an audiovisual device or other equipment that can be provided by the school to defend their work, they must notify the responsible person in advance. The data projector is a standard part of the thesis defense. Many students prepare a PowerPoint presentation.
Since finished and bundled work is being archived for several years in university or university libraries, you need to consider the information you provide in your master thesis and whether you follow all the instructions related to the master writing methodology. Later students who opt for a similar topic to you may be misleading because they can use your work as material.
